Perception is the first mile in the digital transformation of roads.
Explore the critical role of sensors as a bridge between the physical and digital worlds. We believe that the development of all intelligent transportation systems, vehicle-road cooperation, and digital twins begins with precise, real-time perception of roads.
Digital Transformation of Transportation
From “Experience-Based Management” to “Data-Driven Decision-Making”
Perception is the “nerve endings” of the digital twin world.
The core of the digital transformation in the transportation industry lies in shifting from “experience-driven” to “data-driven” decision-making.
Whether it’s the “single network” operation of intelligent highways or the precise implementation of non-on-site enforcement, both rely on high-precision mapping of the physical world.
YINTAILI Technology, with high-precision LiDAR at its core, provides the traffic brain with an all-weather, multi-dimensional, and highly reliable foundational data layer, helping road network management make a leap toward greater precision and intelligence.
Why is it difficult for traditional approaches to support digital transformation?
Single data dimension
Traditional coils/millimeter-wave sensors can only provide information on presence and velocity, lacking crucial three-dimensional features such as length, width, height, and axis type, making it difficult to meet the demands for charging by vehicle type and precise overloading control.
Insufficient all-weather capability
Pure vision-based solutions are greatly affected by lighting conditions, rain, snow, and smog. Under nighttime or adverse weather conditions, the recognition rate drops sharply, leading to gaps in critical data.
High operational and maintenance costs
Laying sensors by breaking up roads not only involves a lengthy construction period but also damages the road structure. Moreover, maintenance requires road closures, resulting in persistently high overall operating costs.

Off-site enforcement and source-based overloading control
In response to the regulatory requirement of "mandatory inspection for trucks and prohibition of entry for vehicles exceeding size limits," we offer a fused sensing solution based on "dynamic weighing + laser profile scanning." The system can collect comprehensive data on the weight, dimensions, and axle configuration of passing vehicles across a wide speed range from 0 to 100 km/h.
- Precise contour measurement: Length error ≤ ±30 cm, width and height errors ≤ ±5 cm—eliminating “large vehicle with small label.”
- Smart Anti-Cheat: Effectively identifies abnormal behaviors such as jumping the scale, S-shaped driving, and dragging the scale.
- Complete chain of evidence: Automatically associate license plate numbers, weighing data, and 3D profile maps, and upload them to the overload control platform in real time.

Active Safety Protection for Bridges and Tunnels
Bridges and tunnels are the critical bottlenecks of the highway network. The ILS-F13 series of measurement-grade LiDAR sensors can establish an invisible “electronic height- and width-limit wall” just before facility entrances. Compared to traditional infrared beam detectors, LiDAR boasts superior anti-interference capabilities and virtually zero false alarm rates.
- Millisecond-level response: As soon as an over-limit vehicle is detected, the audio-visual alarm and guidance screen will be immediately activated.
- Full-coverage scan: Blind-spot-free monitoring to prevent vehicles from bypassing and evading detection.
- Strong environmental adaptability: IP67-rated protection—unafraid of rain, snow, flying insects, or falling leaves.

Precise Survey of Free-Flow Traffic Volume
The laser-based intermodulation system employs a non-contact top-mount or side-mount installation method, and a single unit can cover multiple lanes. It not only counts traffic volume but also provides high-value traffic parameters such as precise vehicle classification, average vehicle speed, and headway between vehicles.
- High detection rate: Traffic flow statistics accuracy ≥ 99%, vehicle type recognition accuracy ≥ 95%.
- Easy construction: No need to break the road to lay coils—installation and commissioning take only a few hours.
- Ultra-long lifespan: MTBF ≥ 50,000 hours, significantly reducing lifecycle operation and maintenance costs.
Core product

ILS-E20-3 Laser Vehicle Detector
Replacing infrared barriers and inductive loops, this single-sided installation does not require road excavation and accurately achieves vehicle separation and triggering.

ILS-EVP30 Laser-Visual Integrated Device
Laser technology and video are deeply integrated to enable precise, all-weather identification of toll vehicle types and axle configurations, complying with the new national standard JT/T489.

ILS-04 Vehicle Outline Detection System
High-precision measurement of vehicle length, width, and height dimensions to construct a 3D point cloud model—the core data source for non-on-site enforcement.
