With the deepening implementation of the “National Integrated Network” operation and the policy of “mandatory inspection for trucks and prohibition of over-limit vehicles,” highway toll plazas at entry points are facing unprecedented traffic pressures. Traditional static weighing systems are inefficient and prone to severe congestion; meanwhile, outdated dynamic weighing systems often fall short when dealing with new cheating methods such as skipping weigh stations, speeding through weighbridges, and driving in S-shaped patterns. Moreover, these systems struggle to accurately capture vehicle dimensions—length, width, and height—leading to oversight and misjudgments of over-limit vehicles. This not only results in lost toll revenue but also poses serious safety risks to highways.

 

Application Logic: At the front end of the toll station entrance lane, YINTAILI Technology’s “weighing + laser” integrated overloading control system has been deployed. On the ground, a high-precision axle-group or full-vehicle dynamic weighing platform is installed to collect real-time data such as vehicle weight. Above, on an overhead gantry structure, the ILS-04 laser-based vehicle outline detection system and the E30-2 axle-type identifier/EVP30 laser-radar integrated device are deployed to simultaneously capture the vehicle’s length, width, and height dimensions, as well as its axle configuration and vehicle model visual features. Multi-dimensional data is fused in real time at the edge computing end. Once a vehicle is determined to exceed the limit (either overweight or oversized), the system immediately activates the upstream LED information boards, audible and visual alarms, and lane barrier mechanisms, achieving second-level early warning and automatic interception and redirection.

 

Technological Advantages: This solution integrates YINTAILI Technology’s self-developed fourth-generation dynamic weighing algorithm with high-precision laser scanning technology. The dynamic weighing system boasts exceptional anti-fraud capabilities, effectively identifying and correcting abnormal data such as weight jumps and S-shaped driving patterns, ensuring weighing accuracy meets Class 1/Class 0.5 standards. Meanwhile, the laser profile detection system constructs a three-dimensional vehicle model with centimeter-level precision, completely eliminating fee-evading practices like "large vehicle with small label" and "illegal modifications." The system supports wide-speed-range detection from 0 to 100 km/h, enabling accurate enforcement even in free-flow conditions without stopping vehicles, significantly boosting entry traffic efficiency and truly realizing "technology-driven overloading control—precise and efficient."
