The E20-3 (a single-beam model) is an innovative laser-based vehicle separation detector designed to thoroughly address the pain points of traditional infrared grating vehicle separators. It employs advanced Time-of-Flight (TOF) laser ranging technology and, with just a single-sided pole installation, can create a high-precision vehicle separation light curtain.
Compared to grating systems that require bilateral beam alignment and excavation of the road surface, the E20-3 does not damage the road surface, is immune to interference from adjacent lanes, is unaffected by strong light, and carries no risk of glass breakage. Single-sided installation—no road-breaking construction allowed.
Traditional gratings require installation on both sides and excavation of the road surface for cable laying, making construction cumbersome and damaging the roadbed. The E20-3, however, only needs a single-sided pole installation, eliminates the need to disturb the road surface, and does not require opposed-beam detection, significantly shortening the construction period and reducing civil engineering costs.
