ILS-H31-F10 3D Laser Profile Scanner
H31-F10
Lightweight 3D Laser Profile Scanner (Rotary) — 360° Panoramic Scanning, Expert for Silo Inventory Management
The H31-F10 is an innovative rotary 3D laser scanning system. Unlike the H30’s oscillating scan, the H31 employs a high-precision slip ring and servo motor to drive the ILS-F10 LiDAR unit in a horizontal rotation of 0° to 360° around a vertical axis.
This unique motion method, combined with the F10 radar’s 270° vertical field of view, enables it to generate a three-dimensional point cloud that covers the entire spherical space—except for a tiny blind spot directly below. It is particularly well-suited for measuring the volume of materials inside cylindrical silos, storage tanks, and large pipelines, as well as for full-profile detection of tunnels and passageways. With a measurement radius of 30 meters and a lightweight design, it is an ideal tool for digital inventorying in confined spaces.

Overview
360° rotating scan, with no blind spots in the field of view.
The H31-F10 is capable of performing full-rotation scanning. When installed at the center of the top of a silo, it can not only scan the material surface below but also scan the surrounding silo walls, thereby constructing a complete internal 3D model and completely eliminating the measurement blind spots inherent in traditional single-point level gauges.
Silo inventory count—accurate to every cubic meter.
For phenomena such as conical formations, pits, or wall buildup that occur in silos when storing grains, cement, chemical powders, and other materials, the high-density point cloud provided by the H31-F10 can accurately capture the actual shape of the material. By using an integration algorithm, it calculates highly precise volume data with an error rate significantly lower than that of traditional estimation methods.
Tunnel cross-section inspection—efficient and all-inclusive
In addition to inventorying, the H31-F10 can also be inverted for use in tunnels or mine roadways. By rotating it once, you can obtain complete circular cross-sectional data, which is ideal for convergence monitoring, deformation analysis, or as-built acceptance inspections—effectively replacing multiple fixed cross-section instruments with a single device.

A “Panoramic Eye” for Inspecting Enclosed Spaces and Digital Management

In traditional industrial storage systems, the inside of a silo is like a “black box,” with inventory data often relying on manual estimates or single-point radar guesses. The introduction of the H31-F10 has transformed this situation. Mounted on the flange at the top of the silo, it performs regular panoramic scans that not only accurately calculate the volume of stored grain but also generate a three-dimensional topographical map of the silo’s interior. This enables managers to intuitively identify anomalies such as wall buildup, rodent holes, and uneven loading, thereby ensuring both the safety of the stored grain and the structural integrity of the silo.
Panoramic coverage, precise inventory management

Specifically designed for circular silos/enclosed spaces
The H31-F10 employs a horizontal rotating structure, meaning its scanning trajectory is helical or cylindrical, naturally matching the geometric structure of circular silos.
Compared to the H30’s swing scanning (which is ideal for rectangular areas), the H31 is more efficient when scanning cylindrical containers and provides a more uniform data distribution. Simply installed in the center, it can cover the interior of silos with a diameter of up to 60 meters (2 × 30-meter radius) without any blind spots. Whether mounted around the walls or at the bottom conical hopper, it delivers clear imaging results.

50Hz high frequency, quickly complete inventory.
Every second counts in warehouse operations. Thanks to the F10 core. 50Hz With its high scanning frequency, the H31-F10 can still achieve high-density point cloud acquisition even at faster rotation speeds.
Typically, completing a high-quality panoramic scan of a silo takes only a few dozen seconds. This allows users to quickly conduct inventory counts during material loading and unloading intervals, keeping real-time track of inventory changes without disrupting normal production operations.
Industrial-grade conductive slip ring, 360° unlimited rotation
To achieve 360° continuous rotation without cable entanglement, the H31-F10 is equipped with a high-quality industrial-grade conductive slip ring that transmits power and high-speed Ethernet signals.
Combine IP67 With its integral sealing design and F10’s dust-resistant algorithm, this system can operate reliably for extended periods in grain silos or cement warehouses with extremely high dust concentrations. It features a long slip-ring life and requires infrequent maintenance intervals.
Professional algorithm to eliminate interference from the bin walls.
The challenge in silo scanning lies in distinguishing between “material” and “silo walls.” Our accompanying software features a specialized algorithm model tailored specifically for silos.
The system can automatically filter out interfering data such as bin walls, stiffening ribs, and ladders based on pre-set silo dimensions, calculating only the volume of usable material. It also supports generating visual inventory reports and material surface topographic maps, enabling managers not only to know “how much” there is, but also “where” it is located.
