The F30 core was originally designed for high-precision navigation in mobile robots and features extremely low measurement noise. When applied to the H31-F30, this means that even when dealing with materials having complex surfaces, it can generate smooth, realistic 3D models that accurately capture the true volume of the materials, thereby minimizing trade disputes.
Golden range covering 90% of industrial silos
The diameters of most industrial raw-material silos range from 15 meters to 40 meters. The H31-F30 offers a measurement radius of **50 meters**, which not only easily covers the central area but also enables clear scanning of material buildup on the far-end silo walls—making it the most cost-effective “golden configuration.”
360° rotation, specially designed for circular spaces
It employs slip-ring conductive technology to achieve unlimited rotation from 0° to 360°. Mounted at the center of the silo’s top, it scans the entire internal space just like a radar station. Compared to ultrasonic or radar level gauges installed at multiple points, this device can construct a complete topography map of the material surface, completely eliminating blind spots.

In industries such as chemical processing, food production, and plastic pellet manufacturing, raw material costs are high. The H31-F30 provides more accurate volume data than traditional level gauges, helping companies achieve precise inventory cost accounting. It can clearly identify the “funnel flow” pattern during discharge and the “angle of repose” shape during feeding, assisting the production department in optimizing inbound and outbound material handling processes and preventing material segregation or deterioration.

H31-F30 utilizes a built-in precision slip ring to drive the F30 radar for continuous horizontal rotation. Combined with the F30’s own 270° vertical scanning field of view, the system can acquire data from the entire space using a spherical coordinate system.
Simply by installing it at the flange opening on top of the silo, it can function like an “endoscope,” completely replicating the internal distribution of materials, wall buildup conditions, and equipment status (such as agitator blades and temperature cables) in the form of a 3D point cloud, enabling visualized management.

“Tailor-made” for medium- and large-sized silos
The F10 with a 30-meter range may have edge blind spots when facing large tanks with diameters exceeding 25 meters, while the F13 with an 80-meter range is more expensive.
The 50-meter measurement radius of the H31-F30 precisely covers the vast majority of industrial silos (diameters ranging from 15 to 40 meters) and large storage tanks. It ensures complete data acquisition from the center to the silo walls while maintaining highly competitive cost advantages, making it the ideal choice as standard equipment for medium- and large-scale projects.
Low noise, high reliability, and accurate reproduction of the actual material surface.
In volume measurement, the “thickness” (noise) of the point cloud directly affects the calculation results. The F30 radar core boasts excellent ranging stability and low-noise characteristics.
Even when dealing with media that have some degree of translucency or reflectivity, such as plastic pellets and PVC powder, the H31-F30 can still acquire stable surface echoes. The clear point cloud data makes it easier for volume calculation algorithms to eliminate interference and produce inventory data with high confidence levels.
Flange installation can be performed by a single person.
Industrial silos typically have limited headroom, and using heavy equipment can pose installation risks. The H31-F30 unit itself weighs less than 7 kg and has a compact footprint.
It can be directly installed on the top of the storage bin via a standard DN150 or larger flange. Its integrated IP67 design eliminates the need for an additional, cumbersome rain shelter, and a single person can easily handle the equipment’s transportation and installation, significantly reducing the difficulty and cost of high-altitude operations.
