The Multi-Channel Free-Flow System is an innovative free-flow detection system based on advanced multi-channel LiDAR technology. It abandons the traditional gantry-mounted setups and requires only the installation of tall poles on one or both sides of the road, equipped with MF100 image-grade multi-channel LiDAR sensors, to perform ultra-wide-range, three-dimensional real-time scanning of 2 to 4 lanes.
Thanks to 1550nm laser technology and high-density scanning with over 150 lines, the system can generate photo-quality 3D point clouds of vehicles, accurately measuring their length, width, and height, and boasts exceptional vehicle model recognition capabilities. Installation requires no traffic closures and no cross-road construction, significantly reducing both the complexity and duration of project implementation. The core radar ILS-MF100 features high-end... 1550nm Fiber Laser Compared to conventional 905nm lasers, its human-eye safety threshold is 40 times higher, allowing it to emit pulses with much greater power.
This brings two groundbreaking advantages: first, the detection range has been extended to 500 meters; second, it boasts exceptional rain and fog penetration capabilities as well as strong resistance to light interference. Even in heavy rain or when facing the setting sun, it can still deliver stable and clear point cloud data.

Traditional solutions require installing one radar above each lane. In contrast, the multi-line system, with its ultra-wide 120° horizontal field of view, needs only one device installed along the roadside to cover 2–3 lanes in a single direction.
For wide roadways with four or more lanes, a bidirectional opposing arrangement—installing one unit on each side—ensures full coverage. Moreover, by stitching together data from two perspectives, this approach minimizes the blind spots caused by vehicles parked side by side, achieving optimal results with the least equipment investment.
