The E30-2 is a mature and reliable high-performance laser-based axle detection system. It features a dual-LiDAR architecture (longitudinal + lateral) and is specifically designed for the precise detection of vehicle outlines, number of axles, axle types, and tire characteristics (single or dual tires).
The system uses high-speed laser scanning to construct a real-time 3D point cloud of the vehicle’s side and underbody, unaffected by lighting conditions, shadows, or body color. It accurately identifies axle types with a separation rate as high as 99.5%. A standard video interface is reserved at the top, allowing for flexible installation of high-definition cameras as needed, thus enabling an upgraded vehicle recognition solution that combines laser and video technologies.
