EVP30
RaiVision Integrated Vehicle Identifier—A perfect fusion of laser and vision, redefining vehicle identification.
The EVP30 is a revolutionary vehicle recognition all-in-one device. It innovatively integrates two high-performance LiDAR sensors and three high-definition cameras into a single pillar, enabling deep data fusion between 3D laser point clouds and 2D visual images.
This multi-dimensional perception architecture enables the EVP30 to accurately identify the vehicle’s geometric features—such as length, width, height, number of axles, and axle configuration—in all weather conditions and under all lighting scenarios. Combined with visual features, it can further perform fine-grained vehicle type classification (e.g., distinguishing between passenger and freight vehicles, and identifying specialized operation vehicles). The system fully complies with the new standard “Vehicle Type Classification for Toll Road Vehicle Tolls.” With a single-sided installation, it can cover all lanes, making it the ultimate solution for precise toll calculation and inspection at highway toll stations and weight-control stations.

Overview
RaiVision Fusion, Multidimensional Perception
Every single technology has its limitations: lasers can’t see license plates, and video-based systems can’t accurately capture vehicle outlines. The EVP30 combines the strengths of both technologies. Using LiDAR, it precisely constructs a three-dimensional profile of the vehicle’s side and generates a point cloud of the tires. Meanwhile, the triple-camera system simultaneously captures panoramic images of the vehicle’s front, rear, and body, achieving an identification performance that’s greater than the sum of its parts—1+1>2.
Precise classification of new national standard models
It fully supports the new vehicle classification standard JT/T 489-2019. Not only can it accurately identify Class 1 to Class 6 trucks and special-purpose vehicles, but it can also assist in determining the type of passenger vehicles by visually analyzing features such as windows and seats, effectively combating fare evasion practices like "large vehicles with small labels" and "mixed passenger and cargo transport."
Integrated column, ultra-simple construction.
Abandon the cumbersome solutions of traditional gantry structures or multi-column modular designs. The EVP30 integrates all sensors, fill lights, and processing units into a single upright column, which is installed on one side of the toll island without disrupting the road surface. This reduces construction time by 80% and makes maintenance exceptionally convenient.

The intelligent guardian of toll stations—a powerful assistant for inspecting and combating overloaded vehicles.

The EVP30 is widely used at highway entrance weigh-in-motion systems, ETC lane inspections, and unattended toll gate lanes. It not only automatically detects whether vehicles exceed weight limits but also captures three high-definition images—of the vehicle’s front, rear, and side—in real time, along with a 5-second video recording, thereby establishing a complete chain of evidence. For logistics parks and port checkpoints, it also serves as an ideal entry device for achieving automated vehicle management.
Holographic perception, precise and error-free.

High-frequency laser scanning precisely reconstructs the vehicle’s skeletal structure.
The EVP30 is equipped with two sets of high-frequency LiDAR sensors. One set is responsible for longitudinal separation, precisely segmenting vehicles that are only 20 cm apart and eliminating any errors in vehicle separation. The other set handles lateral scanning, acquiring the side profiles of vehicles and tire point clouds at a frequency of 100 Hz.
Using point cloud algorithms, the system can accurately determine the number of axles, axle spacing, tire diameter, and whether a floating axle (lift axle) is present—these are the most critical hard indicators for identifying the type of truck, and they are unaffected by lighting or color.

AI-powered vision, recognizing even the “details” more accurately.
Powered by a deep-learning algorithm trained on an extensive vehicle database, the visual unit of the EVP30 does much more than just take photos.
It can intelligently recognize features such as the license plate information on the vehicle’s front end, painted markings on the vehicle body (e.g., “Rescue” or “Emergency Repair”), and the number of windows. By cross-validating with laser data, it effectively distinguishes between vehicle models that have similar外形 but different charging standards (e.g., ordinary trucks versus specialized operation vehicles), significantly improving recognition accuracy.

Integrating text, images, and videos, ensuring inspections are based on solid evidence.
Fee disputes often stem from insufficient evidence. While generating vehicle model results, the EVP30 automatically packages and creates a complete chain of evidence.
This includes a high-resolution, stitched-together side view of the entire vehicle, close-up shots of the front and rear of the car, and a 5-second short video showing the vehicle in motion. All this data is uploaded to the toll collection system in real time, providing irrefutable evidence for post-event audits and dispute resolution.

Integrated design, zero maintenance stress.
The EVP30 adopts a highly integrated industrial design concept. The laser, camera, fill light, power supply, and switch are all housed within a metal enclosure that meets IP65 protection standards.
Its unique self-cleaning glass design (optional) and built-in constant-temperature system enable it to withstand the harsh dusty and temperature-fluctuating conditions typical of highways. The modular structural design makes subsequent maintenance as simple as “plugging and unplugging building blocks,” significantly reducing owners’ operation and maintenance costs.
