Application Case | The RayVision F20 assists in monitoring mechanical production safety within the region, providing robust protection for production security.

2024-04-28

With the rapid development of industrialization, issues related to mechanical safety in production are becoming increasingly prominent. Particularly in the production areas of large-scale factories, where numerous pieces of equipment are involved and operations are complex, managing production safety has become quite challenging. For example, in textile mill production workshops, where equipment operates continuously in a harsh factory environment, enhancing production efficiency while ensuring production safety poses a significant challenge for modern factories.

Application Challenge: Stable Monitoring in Factory Environments

In harsh factory environments characterized by high noise levels, high temperatures, and dust, inspection equipment must be equipped with a precise temperature-control system and a reliable sealing design. At the same time, to ensure production efficiency, monitoring equipment must operate stably.

Solution

The ILS-F20 safety-grade LiDAR employs the Time-of-Flight (TOF) ranging principle and can provide area protection within a 270° field of view, covering distances up to 8 meters (with a reflectivity of 2%).

The production machinery-related equipment emits laser pulses via a laser emission device, and the system starts timing and measurement. When the laser beam strikes an object, part of its energy is reflected back. The laser receiver then captures the returning laser wave. At this point, the system calculates the distance between the laser scanning sensor and the object being measured. After processing the data using relevant algorithms, the system transmits the results to the control system, thereby supporting safe and efficient machinery operation within the designated area.

The ILS-F20 safety-grade LiDAR boasts a wide range of environmental adaptability and strong anti-interference capabilities. Its precise temperature-control system and reliable sealing design ensure that it can maintain stable operation even in harsh weather conditions such as rain, fog, snow, ice, frost, and extreme temperatures. With its precision, efficiency, reliability, and durability, it provides robust protection for production safety and has earned high recognition from users.

Real-life case

The 【Laimou】F20 safety-grade LiDAR has been adopted on Tongkun Group’s textile machinery and equipment. With its precise and efficient laser scanning, it ensures safe and stable production in the designated area. Highly acclaimed by users, it has become the go-to choice for repeat purchases.
