ILS-F80 High-Frequency Obstacle-Avoidance Laser Scanner Sensor

F80

50Hz High-Frequency Obstacle-Avoidance Laser Scanner—The Top Choice for Safety in Semiconductor OHT Cranes and High-Speed AGVs

The F80 is an industrial-grade LiDAR sensor designed specifically for high-speed mobile devices. It breaks through the frequency limitations of conventional radar, offering a scanning frequency of up to 50 Hz—meaning it can perform 50 full-range scans per second, representing a quantum leap in response speed. Combined with its ultra-compact dimensions of 50 mm × 50 mm × 70 mm, the F80 can be seamlessly integrated into high-speed equipment such as semiconductor OHT cranes and shuttle cars—devices that are highly sensitive to space and weight constraints.
The F80 boasts a reliable detection range of 8 meters (10% reflectivity) and features 32-zone group switching functionality. Specifically designed for semiconductor cleanroom environments, it optimizes its recognition algorithms to effectively detect black, light-absorbing materials as well as highly reflective objects, and it offers an impressive resistance to light interference up to 80,000 lux. The F80 serves as a domestically produced alternative to high-end imported radars, making it an ideal solution for ensuring the safe handling of wafers and high-speed logistics operations.

Anti-collision and Precise Positioning for AMHS Overhead Cranes in High-Speed Operation

In the wafer fab cleanroom—where every inch of space is precious—AMHS system OHT cranes must operate densely at speeds of up to 3–5 meters per second along a complex network of overhead tracks, efficiently handling the flow of wafer cassettes (FOUPs). Should a collision or drop occur, not only would expensive wafers be damaged, but the entire production line could come to a standstill, resulting in immeasurable losses. Traditional obstacle-detection sensors often either are too bulky to be easily integrated into the compact crane body, or have low scanning frequencies that lead to delayed responses at high speeds. Moreover, these sensors struggle to accurately detect black or highly reflective foreign objects on the tracks, posing significant safety risks.
