All-solid-state 3D depth-imaging LiDAR—ushering in the 3D era of machine vision.

The T51 is an industrial-grade, all-solid-state 3D LiDAR sensor based on Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology. It eliminates traditional mechanical rotating components and can deliver real-time depth point cloud data and grayscale images at a high frame rate of 30 fps with a resolution of 320×240.
The T51 boasts a wide field of view of 72°×55°, enabling it to capture three-dimensional spatial information from the ground all the way up into the air. This effectively addresses the blind-spot issue that traditional 2D radar cannot detect suspended obstacles or low-lying objects. With its ultra-compact body measuring just 97×47×23mm and an IP65 protection rating, the T51 can be seamlessly integrated into AGV forks, robotic arm end-effectors, or confined spaces, providing mobile robots with a precise “3D vision” for navigation and obstacle avoidance, pallet positioning, and volume measurement.

The T51 breaks through the limitation of traditional 2D LiDAR, which can only scan in a single plane. By leveraging Time-of-Flight (ToF) array technology, it can capture three-dimensional depth information of all objects within its field of view in one go, effectively detecting overhead obstacles (such as shelf beams) and low-profile objects, thereby eliminating vertical blind spots in AGV operations.

The T51 boasts an astonishingly compact size (97×47×23mm)—just half the size of a typical smartphone. It can be easily integrated into the forks of unmanned forklifts, the end effector of robotic arms, or tight spaces within equipment, enabling powerful 3D vision capabilities without altering the device’s external appearance.

Traditional 2D LiDAR can only scan a single horizontal plane, often proving powerless against obstacles that are either above or below the scanning plane—such as overhead shelf beams or low pallets on the ground—thus allowing “objects that slip through the net” to cause collisions.

The T51 outputs a high-density 3D point cloud, creating a conical sensing space measuring 72° × 55°. Whether it’s suspended objects in the air or small obstacles on the ground, as long as they enter this three-dimensional space, they will be precisely detected, providing mobile robots with comprehensive, dead-zone-free safety coverage.

Dual data—depth and grayscale—empower intelligent algorithms.

T51 not only provides distance information for each pixel (depth map), but also simultaneously outputs reflectance information of the object’s surface (infrared grayscale image).

This rich variety of data dimensions enables upper-level algorithms not only to determine “what’s there” but also to assist in identifying “what it is.” By leveraging this data, you can develop advanced vision-based functions such as **pallet hole recognition, human pose analysis, and cargo volume calculation**, greatly expanding the application boundaries of sensors.

The T51 is equipped with a powerful area monitoring algorithm. Using the accompanying software, users can draw various regular or irregular three-dimensional protection zones in 3D space—such as cylindrical, conical, cubic, and other shapes.

Supports 16-zone switching, with each zone comprising 3 independent areas (alarm, deceleration, and stop). This means you can dynamically adjust the shape of the “safety guard” in real time based on the robot’s robotic arm posture or operating environment, ensuring safety while preventing false triggers.

Adaptive exposure, unafraid of complex lighting conditions.

Based on its unique adaptive automatic exposure technology, the T51 can adjust its sensitivity parameters in milliseconds according to changes in ambient light.

It boasts an anti-environmental-light capability of 10,000 lux, enabling it to deliver clear and stable depth images whether in dimly lit warehouse corners or by sunlit windows with scattered light.
