The E30-3 is a cost-effective laser recognition system specifically designed for vehicle axle detection. It features a single-sided I-shaped upright mounting configuration, occupying minimal space and eliminating the need for complex gantry structures.
Equipped with an integrated laser scanning sensor, the system acquires real-time profile information of vehicle sides, accurately identifying the number of axles, axle types, tire configurations (single or dual tires), and vehicle height. With a recognition accuracy rate as high as 98% and an ultra-high IP68 protection rating, the E30-3 can operate reliably around the clock, making it an ideal sensing unit for weight enforcement on national and provincial roads, weigh-in-motion systems at highway entrances, and vehicle classification management in parking lots.

The E30-3 can be installed simply by erecting an I-shaped post measuring 0.6 to 0.9 meters in height alongside the lane. Compared to coil systems that require cutting into the road surface or gantry structures that demand substantial foundations, this solution places extremely low demands on on-site civil engineering work. It can even be installed adjacent to existing safety islands or guardrails, significantly reducing construction costs.

Using laser active scanning technology, there’s no need for vehicles to stop. As a vehicle passes by at speeds ranging from 0 to 20 km/h, the system instantly completes scanning and computation, outputting accurate information on the number and type of axles—thus avoiding the common pain points associated with piezoelectric sensors, such as their susceptibility to damage and frequent maintenance requirements.
