2021 marked the beginning of the 14th Five-Year Plan. In the red July just past, we celebrated the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China; now, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the new China is about to celebrate its 72nd birthday. Over these 72 years, the sons and daughters of China have pursued their goals with tireless dedication; over these 72 years, the Chinese land has witnessed profound and ever-changing transformations.

Now, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the new China is about to celebrate its 72nd birthday. Over these 72 years, the sons and daughters of China have pursued their goals with tireless dedication; over these 72 years, the Chinese land has witnessed profound and ever-changing transformations.

In 2021, a year marked by flourishing achievements: In January, the Civil Code of the People’s Republic of China came into effect; in February, the countdown to the opening of the Beijing Winter Olympics reached its one-year mark; in May, the “Tianwen-1” probe successfully landed on Mars; in July, Chinese athletes once again delivered outstanding performances at the Tokyo Olympics, with the Five-Star Red Flag and the March of the Volunteers frequently flying high at the Olympic venues; in September, General Secretary (*censored term removed*) announced—in his speech at the Global Services Trade Summit of the 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services—that the Beijing Stock Exchange would be established, further deepening the reform of the New Third Board. As a result, small and medium-sized enterprises will gain access to more high-quality financing platforms. On September 17, the return capsule of the Shenzhou-12 manned spacecraft safely landed at Dongfeng, marking the triumphant completion of the three-month space mission by the three astronauts who had traveled across the stars. On September 25, Ms. Meng Wanzhou, who had been unjustly detained by the Canadian government for over 1,000 days, safely returned to her motherland aboard a chartered flight provided by the Chinese government... All these remarkable events fully demonstrate the Chinese path, the Chinese spirit, and the Chinese strength of our great motherland.

The nation is growing prosperous, and society is advancing. Let us celebrate together across the globe, offering our heartfelt blessings to our motherland: may it prosper and grow stronger, thrive and flourish, shine brilliantly, and become a splendid China!
